Кухня, яку видно
Kitchen tips for people with low vision and for older people ageing in place (Ukraine, Ukrainian-language page): handle-to-front contrast of at least 30 LRV points, visible worktop edges, plain worktops, matt or satin finishes, lighting inside cupboards and under wall units, shelves contrasting with crockery, drawer dividers, safe cupboard doors, tactile bump-on stickers, no wall cupboards over the sink or hob, carousels and pull-down storage.
Every tip comes from the FurniGen rule base (profile low_vision) with a source and page: Thomas Pocklington Trust (2014 interior designers guide; 2009 Good Practice Guide 4), RNIB 'Practical adaptations around the home', VisionAware (APH ConnectCenter) and Approved Document M volume 2 (England), clause 0.26. They are recommendations, not Ukrainian building norms (DBN). The 30-point LRV figure is defined in ADM volume 2 for buildings other than dwellings; in homes it is good practice. Not reviewed by a sight-loss specialist; not medical advice.
